Engineering jobs directly from employers
No staffing agencies. No recruiter reposts. No duplicate listings. DirectJobSource collects engineering jobs directly from company applicant tracking systems and sends you to the original employer application.
How it works
- Each company's own ATS job board is read directly: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Workable, BambooHR, Breezy, Teamtailor, UKG Pro, and Paylocity. Nothing comes from LinkedIn, Indeed, or another aggregator, and only the employer can write to its own board.
- Every job shows three times: the employer's own posted date, the moment DirectJobSource first saw it, which the source can never rewrite, and the last time the posting was verified still open. Boards are re-read every six hours.
- A job that leaves its board is closed within hours, and postings the employer dated more than 90 days ago are dropped instead of shown forever.
- Pay ranges come from the employer's published field when there is one, and from the description text when there is not. Each job says which.
- Every apply link goes to the employer's own application form. Any search can be sent to a Discord webhook as new matches arrive, and there is an RSS feed of new jobs. No account, no email address.

Questions
What does first seen mean?
The time DirectJobSource's own pipeline first saw the posting on the employer's board. It is stamped once and never changed by the source. The employer's posted date is shown next to it, because some applicant tracking systems omit that date and some reset it when a role is reposted.
Why are there no staffing agencies?
The jobs come from each employer's ATS board endpoint, which only that employer can write to, so third parties cannot insert listings. Boards that belong to agencies themselves are flagged by a rule based classifier and marked so they can be filtered out.
Which applicant tracking systems are covered?
Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Workable, BambooHR, Breezy, Teamtailor, UKG Pro, and Paylocity. Workday, iCIMS, JazzHR, Rippling, and Personio are not read yet, so employers that use only those are absent.
How fresh is the feed?
Every board is re-read every six hours. A new posting appears within that window, a posting that leaves its board is closed within it, and Discord alerts go out at the end of each run.
Where do the pay ranges come from?
From the employer's published compensation field when the ATS has one, which Ashby does. Greenhouse and most others print the range in the description instead, so it is read from the text and marked as approximate.
Do I need an account?
No. Searching, Discord alerts for a saved search, the RSS feed, and the apply links all work without signing up for anything.
Where does the apply link go?
To the employer's own application form on their applicant tracking system. DirectJobSource never hosts an application form and never asks for a resume.
